Duskwind nugged Iceheart's body with his muzzle, gently. He did the same with Toxicstar, "It's passed dawn. The patrols are already out, and Brindlepaw ate a mouse already." He purred as he watched the apprentice look around the den, laying down on his stomach. Something stabbed his heart, "There is.. no sign of Wispdream, yet. Jetpaw was in camp earlier, but he quickly left after eating."

The dark tabby pelt of Breezefur, appeared, "Good morning~" He mewed, "How is everyone~?" He smiled at the cats in the medicine den, his green eyes flashing with happiness.

Iceheart yawned. She felt better after a bit of sleep, but still she was tired. She felt like she had to do something. She nodded in greeting at Breezefur."I'm alright. Although, I wish Wispdream would come back soon." She looked at each cat in the room and sighed. "I really don't know what's taking her so long."

Iceheart pawed at the ground; she was getting restless. "Breezefur, Duskwind, "She mewed. "I know we aren't on a patrol, but would either of you like to go hunting with me?"

Breezefur looked at his littermate, "I think Duskwind should go with you. I'll watch Brindlepaw and help Toxicstar with anything," He sat down and started to talk quietly to the apprentice.

The black tom huffed. Breezefur always went to do what he said, before getting a response. The two cats padded out of the den, and into the clearing. He turned to Iceheart, "So," Duskwind started, "She-cats get to choose first. Where would you like to go?"

Iceheart followed Duskwind into the camp clearing. She pondered his question for a moment. "I think we should head toward the river. We can hunt all over the place. Possibly catch some water voles, mice and maybe some fish."

Iceheart padded toward the exit of the clearing. She stopped and looked back and Duskwind. "Sound good?" While she was looking and Duskwind, she noticed how strong he was. Great friend, she thought to herself. It would take alot to win over Iceheart's love for anyone. Friend making was easy, falling in love with someone was hard.

Duskwind nodded, "I haven't been there for awhile, so alright," He followed the black she-cat out of camp. The forest seem still this morning, and a few birds were singing their morning tune.
He glanced at his friend beside him. Iceheart was enjoying the small walk to the river as well. I wonder... Do I love her? ...Mouse-brain! If you love her, then why are you staring at her long, admiring her pelt?! He shook his head when he realized he was staring at his friend too long; Iceheart gave a questioning glance. He broke out into a sprint when he noticed the river. Thank StarClan!
