Name:: Moonstar
Gender:: Female
Age:: 35 moons
Clan/ Group:: Rainclan
Position:: Leader
Description::
Moonstar has a unique, but not totally impossible fur pattern. Her eyes are like two sparkling crystals filled to the brim with a cool blue liquid. Her pelt is a deep dark gray, almost pitch black, like the dark side of the moon (hence the warrior name Moonshade). Alone this pelt speckles little and big white stars, but the biggest of all is her head, which is completely white. Her tail is also tipped with white. Her body is small and sleek, and perfect for swimming, which she is fairly good at since she is a Rainclan cat. Her claws are long, black, and shiny with a deep curve, great for fishing.
Personality:: adventurous | caring | faithful
Adventurous;; Most leaders lose pretty much all the fun in them when they "mature" and begin to lead their clan. Not Moonstar! Now don't get me wrong, she matured, but that isn't going to stop her from going out on some crazy adventures when she can. They wont be as great as they use to be (darn you responsibility!) but you can bet that whatever apprentices there are under her leadership, they are going to be the luckiest ones of all!
Caring;; If Moonstar had not chosen the path of a leader, she would have spent her life in the nursery. She loves kittens, but even more, she loves all of her friends and clan. She hates spilling blood, but she realizes the necessity of it some times. She cared about her clan, they are her family.
Faithful;; Moonstar has faith in Starclan. She has never and never will doubt their wisdom. She always seeks their help when there is a major problem. But not only that, you can trust Moonstar. She will always keep your trust, but she wont keep a secret she knows she has to tell.
Family:: Stargazer - deceased - mother - tribe cat Stonefall - deceased - father - Rainclan Mr. Darcey (old name: Cloudfeather) - unknown - brother - Kittypet Grayflower - unknown - sister - unknown
History:: PARENTS;; i will reenact Moonstar's life through RP up to her birth... Stargazer padded through the silky grass. She had made a choice. She looked behind her, staring at the mountains, her home. Sighing, she turned and continued until she reached the roaring river which stood between her old life and her new. On the other side sat Stonefall, his pure white coat shining in the moonlight. She leaped across the river, landing with a huff in front of her. "Star.." that is what he called her, for short. Even though her full name in the tribe was 'One who star gazes', she took on the name stargazer as a Rainclan warrior, since there was no threat of her becoming a leader anyways. "I found a bridge you can cross," he meowed, licking her cheek. Any day she could jump this river, but she was pregnant with Stonefall's kits, and could not jump like that for a while. She smiled, and purred at his pelt pressing against hers, as he led her to the bridge. And so her life began as the mate of the Rainclan Deputy and mother of Graykit, Cloudkit, and Moonkit.
Apprenticeship;; Moonpaw started a life in Rainclan having no idea of her origins. She thought she was the daughter of the queen Softwillow. She was taught under her father, learning how to use her small body for fishing and such. She glided through her assessments, and showed great understanding of the warrior code. She wasn't special per-say, but that was okay. She was happy with her standing in the world, she felt valuable to her friends and clan. Even though i wish i could keep her life happy and and such, and though it doesnt turn sob-story or anything, it gets crappy.
Warrior life;; Moonshade. That was the name that was set to her that day, as she watched the camp alone. But it wasn't going to be your normal night. from the entry came a strange scent, which made Moonshade prick her eyes and widen her eyes. She had never smelled this strange scent before, but fear melted with it. "Sandstar!" she had screamed, hearing the brown cat jump from her nest and run out, "what?" Moonshade looked at the entrance, as the waking warriors flooded from their warm nests. A dark creatures speckled white appeared from entrance, she was breathing hard, she was bloody and skinny. She had been through a lot. The cats waited for her to regain herself. When she looked up, a single voice yelled out, "Stargazer!" Stonefall ran from his spot with the other senior warriors, meeting with the strange cat and began to groom her furiously. "What are you doing here? Why are you bleeding?" His voice had been scared, and frantic. Some of the cats looked confused, others angry, some scared. She looked up and said, "The tribes have been destroyed. I don't know how many survivors there are, i just knew i could come here." Then when she looked around, her gaze landed on Moonshade. "M-m-moonkit?" Moonshade just raised an eyebrow in confusion. How did this cat know her name? Stonefall looked at her "her name is Moonshade now.. Moonshade," he looked at her, "this is your real mother."
She couldn't look at the tribe cat the whole time she lived with them. They found out that a pack of wolves killed off the tribes, and she was one of the lucky ones. She died of old age after a couple of seasons. Learning that she wasn't truly a full Rainclan cat hurt Moonshade deep, but it was worse being lied to her whole life. She could never look her father in the eye again.
RolePlay Sample:: This is an old-ish RP post from a stray cat site i played on a while ago, the cat's name is Rush Northwind, he is a male chocolate-tortoiseshell.
A welcoming sunlight shone on a pitch black surface, stinking of burning rubber. Yet to the touch it burned like hell. Bright sidewalks reflected brightly, and shiny trashcans made their presence known. Small, mundane, square houses sat in long rows, with barely a yard in-between each others walls. The only thing separating them was a white barrier called a fence. Small identical lawns with bright green blades lay in front of each of the nests. It was an unusually warm day, no clouds and the sun was shining bright. Any possible traces of snow had melted away from Lutraine. Cold did not last long in the warm and tropical city. Upon the sidewalks padded white paws. Today was a rare occassion, and Rush planned to relish the clear sky and beating sun.
Bright yellow eyes fixated themselves on a looming brick wall. Rush smiled, speeding up his trot, until he was in a slow run. With a push from powerful back legs, he was sailing upward toward the top of the wall. He landed lightly on his paw on top. It was thick, and big enough to sprawl out. It was right in the path of the sun's rays. 'Perfect' he thought happily. A male cat, barely adult, at the age of 2 years and no worries. Hakunamatata. Just as the little cartoon warthog on the human's TVs would say. He began to hum the song, the words replaying in his head over and over again. 'It means no worries for the rest of your days...it's a problem free... philosophy....' Rush's mind drifted. Although he was haunted by a lingering loneliness, he did not let this bother him and his sun bathing. At first. He didn't have any friends. Oh how he wished he did, though. What was the point of small discoveries, adventures, and games without someone to play them or discover them with? He sighed. He was always different from other cats. Most males like himself ran off with other she-cats. But he rarely felt any attraction toward one. they seemed like little annoying kitties with no worries except for about themselves. He did meet females he liked, but never loved. He shook his head violently. What was he thinking? All love ever did was stop your fun and tie you down to annoying chirping kittens anyways! Yeah! Rush was young, and did not plan on tieing himself down so quickly! he laughed at the sill thoughts he had been having. "Love," he muttered to himself, "nonsense." wordcount: 420
