Name::SalmonWade
Gender:: She-cat
Age::20 moons
Clan/ Group:: Trying for DarkClan
Postion:: Warrior
Description:: SalmonWade is a sleek Egyptian Mau with a sliver coat dotted with light black dots and stripes. Her eyes a of a pea green color, while her nose is salmon pink. The she-cats hind legs are longer then her front, like all Mau's, giving her a slightly odd appearance compared to other cats around. A flap of skin connects her long back legs to her belly, which help her run as fast as a rabbit, but SalmonWade prefers to swim rather then run. This cat, for a female, is rather large, standing about an inch taller then most she-cats. Her fur is soft and light, but thick enough to with stand the cold of bare leaf.
Personality:: Quiet,calm and aloof, this she cat tends to think rather logically, injecting situations with a health dose of reality, but will never bicker and whine over a silly fight. Even is she isn't a medicine cat, she has the basic knowledge of one, for when she was a kit, SalmonWade would secretly follow after the Medicine cat when he went out for herbs. Even if she seems to be serious most of the time, SalmonWade does enjoy playful scuffles and a good chase around the pine trees.
Family:: Her mother and father where rogues, but left SalmonWade near the clans border in hopes of a better life for their only kit. The she-cat remembers little about her parents but their names, Jedidiah and Quick-silver, they may or may not still be alive,
History:: SalmonWade may have been born a rogue, but has been living in the clan all her life. After being taken in by the clan, she was named Jollykit then Jollypaw. When she was old enough to become a apprentice , she would often frustrate her mentor by sneaking off to either go swimming or look at different herbs. SalmonWade had a peaceful kitten hood, staying out of trouble the best she could and doing(mostly) what she was told. Just before her ceremony, the young cat snuck off DarkClans territory and made her way to RainClans river. Diving head long into the water, the she-cat swam blissfully until a large fish caught her eye, but her eyes should have been on the RainClan border patrol that was coming. Swimming with strong, powerful strokes,Salmon wade caught the large fish with her talons, but it was to large and began to drag her down as her talons became stuck in the scales.By this time, her mentor had arrived on the scene and was horrified to see his apprentice being drug to the depths of the river. Begging for help from the patrol, the RainClan cats where able to subdue the fish and bring both the kit and it to shore. SalmonWades mentor thanked them and promised they would have no more trouble with the kit.It was later found out that the large fish was a salmon, and by requested on her mentor, her name was changed from JollyHeart to SalmonWade, perhaps a warning to the young cat to stay out of trouble, or it may have simply been an affectionate gesture.Only her now deceased teacher knows.
RolePlay Sample::(Sorry, I am alittle rusty)The morning suns rays threw an eerie shadow apon the walls of the warriors den. The warmth of many sleeping bodies was intoxicating,causing nearly every one who trotted by to yawn and look longingly at the happy sleepers. Among the bodies was a large silver she-cat, curled tightly between the others, snoring in a blissful state of a dream. SalmonWade would have not stirred for many more hours if a fly had not perched apon her ear, causing it to flick and wake her. Parting her jowls, a yawn escaped her mouth, eyes still slightly closed in a groggy state of half sleep. Rousing herself, the she-cat lifted her belly from the cool cave floor and daintily stepped over her clan mates to reach the tunnels.SalmonWade's black dotted tail tip flick as she trotted quietly out of the den, not waking a soul. In a non-nonchalant manner, the cat picked her way twards the main camp, gently mewing in greeting at the cats who passed her by. As she made her way around the corner, the brighter camp den made SalmonWades pupils flicker to slits as she drank in the scenes of the area. With little rush, the she cat simply walked to the far side of the den, near the entrance and lay down once more, watching the world come to life as the morning began to take its shape.
