cedarclaw. Ah. Fresh air. It was something that made Cedarclaw smile. The tomcat knew that before he had opened his eyes what he would see. He would see the inside of the warriors den, and the thought made him happy. Cedarclaw yawned and stretched, but when he yawned he cringed. Morning breath. The deputy laughed softly to himself before beginning to give his fur a good cleaning. Once he was satisfied he walked into the morning light. He closed his eyes for a few moments and let the sun soak into his fur. Moments passed as he sat there, motionless, before he decided to do something and not be a lump. The cedar tom yawned again as he passed the nursery, and with jealousy, looked at the kits playing. He wondered if he would ever have kits. Maybe one day. He sighed and began to walk away from camp.
When he got back he had a few small birds in his mouth. He was pretty content about that. He dropped the prey onto the pile and looked around. For once, he was a little lonely. Still, that didn't mean that he wanted to talk to anybody. He was about to walk back to the warriors den when he realized how no good would come from that. As he pondered what to do, he saw a shadow approach. He stifled an annoyed noise and forced himself to stay quiet as the other feline came into view. "..Hello."

((I'ma just kinda.. say it was Toxic.. x3, If that's okay with you, of course! If not, I'll edit. ) Toxicstar looked up from where she was sitting nearby, flicking her black ears in greeting. "Hey, Cedarclaw." she greeted the deputy casually, taking no real notice to the fact he obviously didn't wish to speak. She moved her black and orange-tabby-striped tail to curl it around her paws, giving the tom a curt nod. I doubt he'll speak, she thought, narrowing her piercing green eyes and standing up, ready to walk away.

cedarclaw. At first Cedarclaw had willed for the cat behind him to go away, but when he realized that it was Toxicstar, his lips curled into the ghost of a smile. He turned around to face her, and he dipped his head in greeting. "Hello, Toxixstar." To be honest he was quite bored, and would rather be talking to Rowanfoot, but he didn't know where his best friend was, so he was stuck with his leader. He respects his leader, yes, but he never really talked to her much - he didn't feel like he knew her, and this kind of annoyed him. They were clan mates - leader and deputy - shouldn't they at least know a little about each other? He smiled. This coming from one of the most quiet cats in the clan. "It has certainly been a lovely day, has it not?" He said, tilting his head and letting his tail sway from side to side.

Toxicstar began to sit back down, happy that he had taken acknowledgement to her greeting. She gave a light flick of the tail again and sat glanced over to the fresh-kill pile, which was low for newleaf. She looked back at Cedarclaw and nodded. "Do you want to go and hunt?" she asked, taking a tentative step towards the entrance. Her stubborn mind flashed; she was going whether he was or not.

cedarclaw. The cedar tom smirked. He just got back from hunting, but what the heck. He grunted his response and got up. He started walking toward the camp entrance and once again, he smiled. "Coming?" As soon as he spoke his smile was again gone.
ooc;; Not much to reply with, sorry, or else it would have been longer. >w<

Toxicstar nodded, standing back up to her full height. The small black she-cat darted over to the camp entrance and shot out, waiting just outside the camp for the deputy to follow. She gave an excited sniff, happy for a nice newleaf hunt.

cedarclaw. Holding back laughter as he saw his leader race out of camp, he walked toward the camp entrance slowly. Why rush? He had all the time in the world, didn't he? Well, no, it would be rude to keep her waiting, so he started walking just a little faster - still taking his sweet time. Once he was outside the camp, he turned his head to look for Toxicstar, but for some reason he couldn't seem to find her. He shrugged. He'd find her eventually. He smiled a little and trotted along the path that had been created by so many moons of walking. Although, within moments, he was reunited with Toxicstar again. He nodded and waited.
