Name::
Bearkit, Bearpaw, Bearpelt
Gender::
Male
Age::
23 Moons
Clan/ Group::
Shadowclan
Postion::
Warrior
Description::
Thickset tom with pale pelt and darker Siamese points. Blue eyes and nicked ears.
Personality::
Lighthearted and kind with a teasing nature. He's known to poke fun at apprentices and even other warriors, especially if they become over-flustered by something silly. Bearpelt isn't one to protest, and will follow orders given by the deputy or leader without hesitation, even if it contradicts his own thought of the matter. He enjoys a good spar and enjoys winning even more. Unfortunately, he can be a bit oblivious to other cat's feelings - especially those of a she-cat.
In battle, the tom is rather aggressive and isn't afraid to give an opposing cat a good thwack upside the head. He doesn't take kindly with sour words towards Shadowclan, and will easily reply back with a retort just as sharp. He doesn't like the idea of becoming too close to cats of other clans, but is still respectful and kind at gatherings or during a simple confrontation where aggression isn't needed. However, he much prefers to stay close to cats of his own clan and will make it clear to those who seem to stray too close.
Family::
Echoleaf - Mother
Toadtooth - Father
History::
Bearpelt was born quite healthy and lively - but he was a bit bigger than the others. The other kits overheard his mother talking to another queen about how he seemed a tad... well, fat. Therefore, they resorted to calling him Fatkit. Bearkit tried not to mind it all too much, although day after day it did grow a bit tiresome. However, he stuck his chin out at the matter and took it with pride, even throwing a playful comeback at the others. Eventually, their teasing wore down as they grew (Bearkit always a bit bigger), and were then named apprentices. Bearpaw proved to be quite the skilled battler, but seemed to be a bit... cocky. His mentor was slightly worried about the matter but figured it wasn't a problem as long as it didn't get out of hand.
However, when a battle broke out between Shadowclan and Thunderclan, Bearpaw had begun to brag about how much better he was than another apprentice. The Thunderclan apprentice quickly taught him otherwise, clawing chunks from his ears and sending the tom running. Since then, he hasn't been known to talk so highly about himself and takes his successes with a bit more humility
Bearpelt, after being given his warrior name, hasn't experienced too many battles or arguments, whether between his clanmates or other clans. He's quite comfortable with his position in Shadowclan and can be found teasing and poking at the apprentices.
RolePlay Sample::
Bearpelt was sprawled out on the ground outside of the warrior's den, his paws stretching out as he arched out in a stretch. It was a glorious day, and the sun was shining beautifully above. The warmth seeped into his pelt, pushing a purr to surface and roll from his tongue. The thrumming of paws against the earth caused his head to life, blue eyes watching as an apprentice barreled into camp. "All I caught was this dumb, scrawny squirrel!" he panicked, dropping the rodent on the fresh kill pile. "My mentor is going to be mad, isn't he?" the young tom meowed at Bearpelt, who's tail swished to the side of him in slight surprise. However, his expression remained calm, his head tilted to the side a bit. "Well, perhaps. That squirrel is pretty scrawny," he meowed, watching in amusement as the apprentice's eyes grew wide with worry. "I knew it!" he wailed, beginning to head back out of camp. The warrior's jaw clicked open to call him back. However, he quickly refrained the action. With that trouble apprentice gone, the clearing was quiet. Perfect for a doze, he thought merrily, settling his head back down to the cool ground.
