Personality::
Hawkstar could be, and sometimes is, referred to as 'evil'. He rules his clan with an iron 'fist', so to speak, and doesn't take any fooling around in his clan. Hawkstar loves to cause trouble, then manipulate others to make them see it was not his fault. He's very good at manipulation, and he uses it often to get what he wants, when he wants. Hawkstar is not merciful or soft, and believes that a good punishment toughens up his warriors. Most believe that he inherited his violent nature from his father, who pushed him hard to do his best and be the best. All anyone can do is wonder why he was chosen as deputy, or accepted by Starclan to lead. Some say that he never received his nine lives, or that he got them form the Dark Forest. He's a bit nicer to his mate, that is if he had one, but can sometimes 'bring work home' and be angry with her for no explained reason. Hawkstar does feel guilty every once in a while, and can have his sentimental moments, but they are rare and don't come up often.
Family::
Barkfur- Father, deceased
Lilypetal- Mother, deceased
History::
Hawkstar was like any other kit; born in the nursery with a mother and father. But as he grew up, his father saw some potential in him, and began to fill his head with stories about power and greatness. From that moment on, Hawkkit was determined to be the best for his father. During his final fighting assessment, he drew blood from one of the other apprentices. Because of this, he was held back from his warrior ceremony by a moon. Two months after he finally got his warrior name, he received an apprentice. The leader was skeptical about giving him an apprentice, but Hawkshadow managed to convince him. He was very rough on his apprentice, but his apprentice was tough and managed to live up to his mentor's expectations. Since his father was deputy, he convinced their leader to make Hawkshadow the 'heir' to his father's position.
RolePlay Sample::
Hawkstar stood up to give his summary, and he couldn't help but glance at Windclan's leader and smirk a bit. He stepped forward before the gathered cats and lifted his head to speak, "Shadowclan is as strong as ever, and prey has been mostly plentiful. However, we would like to warn Windclan that we know they have been hunting on our territory, and it will no longer be tolerated," Shocked gasps came from the Windclan cats, and their leader was already bristling. Hawkstar shot a smug look at Dawnstar, who was walking towards him, "Windclan has done no such thing! It is Shadowclan who has been hunting on our territory!" She growled deeply in her throat. Hawkstar shook his head and raised a paw, gesturing to the cats below to seize their yelling and protesting, "No, no. I strictly remember it being a Windclan cat on our territory. Unless you're accusing me of lying..." He stared at her with cold eyes. "I don't tolerate lying in my clan, Dawnstar," He stood and began to pace along the surface of the rock, his tail twitching from side to side, "So if I am not lying, then you must be lying. But since you are not in my clan, I will take it easy on you. After all, Windclan is a bit more primitive in their lifestyle than Shadowclan," Hawkstar had sat back down and was now inspecting his claws nonchalantly. Dawnstar hissed at him and went to spring, but Mudstar stepped in front of her and made her step down. Hawkstar waved his paw, "Go on with your summary, Dawnstar. I'm eager to hear what you have to say," He gave her a toothy smile, his sharp teeth glinting in the moonlight. Dawnstar gave him a final scowl before turning to the cats.
